RIPESS Intercontinental will participate in the EDGE Conference, to be held in Bogotá, Colombia, from April 28-30, 2025, to share its roadmap and explore collaborations to continue strengthening efforts in favor of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE).

This year, the conference will focus on funders’ accountability to movements fighting for justice, their tangible commitment to systemic change, and the building of real and meaningful partnerships.

RIPESS will present its roadmap, including achievements and activities carried out so far, as well as planned actions for 2025 and beyond, based on the project supported by the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD): “Regionalization through an Intersectional Approach to the Implementation of the UN Resolution on the Promotion of the Social and Solidarity Economy in Service of Sustainable Development”.

This project includes advocacy actions, trainings, meetings, and publications at a global level, led by RIPESS Intercontinental, as well as regional and local initiatives in Colombia, Guatemala, and the Latin America and Caribbean region; Morocco, Cameroon, and the West Africa region; and Tamil Nadu (India), driven by RIPESS LAC, ASEC / RIPESS Asia, and RAESS / RIPESS Africa.

For RIPESS, the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) is the most systemic response to sustainable development, prioritizing people and nature, with a focus on economic, gender, and environmental justice.

We look forward to your participation in the EDGE Conference 2025 and to continuing to strengthen the work in favor of the Social and Solidarity Economy.
