On the World Day of Social Justice, RIPESS was invited to take part in the retreat organised by UCLG (United Cities and Local Governments) in Barcelona. The executive secretary, Sandra Moreno, had the opportunity to speak about ‘The Social and Solidarity Economy as a catalyst in the provision of innovative Public Services in Just Transitions and the Care Economy’.
This meeting brought together actors and parties from all over the world who discussed and reflected on hot topics in the political and social reality of the world, such as sustainable food systems, the right to the city, the urgency of climate justice and the role of care from a holistic perspective.
