UN Inter Agencies Working Group on the SSE (UN Task Force on SSE, in English) organized in collaboration with France and Costa Rica, a meeting as part of a side event of the High Level Policy Forum (HLPF) of the UN which was held in New York from 11 to 20 last July.
As a reminder, the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development is United Nations central platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals, adopted at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit on 25 September 2015.
At that meeting (see program), which objective was to promote the inclusion of the SSE in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2016-2030, Denison Jayasooria from RIPESS Asia (ASEC) has spoken on behalf of the grass root actors already active players of a development model based on the SSE in the consistent of the SDGs.
