In the course of its history, RIPESS has grown on all continents and has established relationships with numerous international institutions and civil society organizations.

In addition, as part of its activities to promote SSE towards international institutions, RIPESS has been accredited by UNCTAD since September 2014 and has a consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since July 2016.
