Yvon Poirier publishes the text “How RIPESS contributed to the UN resolution on the SSE in 2023: RIPESS’ detailed contribution to the adoption on 18 April 2023 of UN resolution A/RES/77/281 ‘The promotion of the social and solidarity economy for sustainable development’’. The publication examines in detail the process of creating the first UN resolution on the social solidarity economy (ESS).
RIPESS worked by weaving a very strong ecosystem with UN agencies and countries that should not be forgotten if we consider the evolution of this process, in which there is now a recent continuation of this resolution at the UN and in which RIPESS continues to participate with UNTFSSE.
