The 22nd Session of the Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22) will be held in Marrakech from 7 to 18 November 2016.
The COP22 will take over the COP21 in which significant progress was made. It should be part of the actions to take after the different priorities selected in the Paris Agreement, including those related to adaptation, transparency, technology transfer, mitigation, capacity building and damages.
For the Moroccan Presidency, this conference is an “opportunity to give voice to the most vulnerable countries as regards climate change, in particular African countries and island states. 12 RAESS (Social and Solidarity Economy´s African Network) networks member will take part in this international event, around scientific papers, presentation of sustainable local development projects and local products exhibition as part of the mobilization of African civil society.
